Bar Opening on 18th May

We have decided not to open the bar for outside drinking only at this present time.

At this time we are prioritising "Return to Play" for our players and parents who have given us unbelievable support over the last 13 months and as a Club, we are very much grateful for this support. At the moment there is a lot of red tape concerned with games, including no spectators, no use of changing rooms and all players have to turn up, play and go home.

When we get to the Government's step 3 phase, week commencing 17th May, we understand the majority of these regulations will change, including being allowed to open the club inside and all being well, access to changing rooms permitted. We will announce our opening times the week before and hope to tie this in with some spectators being allowed to watch games. From 8th May, our Juniors, Youth and 2nd team will commence their League seasons, with 22nd May being the date for the revised NCL Regional League to commence, thus it all hopefully falling into place in Step 3 of the Roadmap.

Please be patient and understanding. There has been a lot of hard work that has gone on behind the scenes that allow us to be in a sound financial position. Big thanks to Tom Bell who has gone above and beyond with his help, time and advice to ensure this. Big thanks also to all those that have helped facilitate the training and will be also giving up their time when we "Return to Play"

Hopefully through the Summer months we can all get together and have a few beers and talk rubbish at the bar. I am even missing Lord Popplewell of Horsforth. (I think)

Thank you and hope to see you soon, Nick.
