MAURICE BAMFORD
1935 - 2019
Maurice passed away on May 22nd 2019. He was a former player and coach at Stanningley as well as coaching numerous teams including Great Britain, Leeds, Wigan & Bramley to name a few. He lived for rugby league and his anecdotes and books were a source of interest and amusement to anybody who had the good fortune to hear them or read them.
Condolences to Maurice’s friends and family at this sad time.
Funeral will be held at Park Wood Crematorium, Elland, HX5 9HZ on Friday 7th June, 12.00 followed by refreshments at Headingley Stadium
No flowers by request, donations if desired may be given to Yorkshire Cancer Research.
