The top-selling clubs…

1st place, Cramlington Rockets, with sales of 2523 tickets
Winners of a fully bespoke BLK kit.
“We are thrilled to be the top selling club in the country. The money raised will make big difference both to the club and to Rugby League Cares. It is important we back charities like this as the help and support they give those in the rugby league family is essential. Many do not realise the benefit they provide until they need it, so anything we can do to raise awareness of this brilliant cause is a worthwhile activity.
“The money raised will go towards new equipment and kit for the club’s junior section. We make the effort to provide match kit meaning players do not need to buy their own and thus removing a potential barrier to someone playing. It is one of the biggest expenses we have so to have a free set of strips is amazing and I know the players will love playing in their brand new BLK kit.” Jeff Ball.
2nd place, Upton ARLFC, with sales of 2455 tickets
Winners of £500 worth of Rhino RL kit.
Upton have been very successful this year, also winning the early bird draw in July. They continue to hold the luck, selling winning tickets for top prizes 2 years in a row. Dave Welsh of Upton ARLFC said: “This is the first year that Upton have been part of the Community Raffle, previously running our own in club. But the Community Raffle is an easy, hassle free way to raise money for the club with no outlay. The prizes on offer are great, for both the winners and the highest selling club, and there's help and support from Rugby League Cares throughout the competition.
The money we've raised from this will help with the refurbishment of the club, its a great cause to be involved with #completenobrainer!"
3rd place, Stanningley Sports and Community Club, with sales of 2115 tickets
Stanningley selected the hospitality box for six at the 2016 Grand Final as their prize.

4th place, Farnley Falcons, with sales of 1760 tickets
Winners of a selection of signed Rugby League memorabilia.
Jonny Adams of Farnley Falcons said, “RL Cares have offered our club a lot of support in the last 6 months, as we look to establish Junior teams in our local area. But the Raffle was a great way for us as a club to come together to fund raise. Knowing that for every 100 tickets sold the club would raise £70 helped give everyone a target to aim for. The prizes were fantastic and certainly something that we could all get behind and promote.
Beyond the financial benefits, the raffle itself is a great way to reach out to the local community. Having our club name attached to something that Rugby League Cares were running gave us a real boost. Players and parents were talking to friends, family and colleagues about the Community Raffle and about Farnley at the same time which has helped us reach further into the community - as we look for more players and sponsors to get involved with the club.
On behalf of everyone at Farnley Falcons, I would like to say thank you to Rugby League Cares for their support in 2015 and onwards.”
5th place, Rochdale Development Association, with sales of 1355 tickets
Winners of 25 tickets to Magic Weekend.

I actually cannot believe that every club in the country doesn't take part - it is the most simple and fantastic way to raise money!”
